Metrology Laboratory Maintenance Engineer

10-month contract

Based in Whitley, CV

£27.21 per hour (Inside IR35)

About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in Whitley, who are looking for a Metrology Laboratory Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Job Description

As Metrology Laboratory Maintenance Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and controlling laboratory environmental conditions, including temperature
Supporting and coordinating maintenance activities across a wide range of equipment
Acting as the responsible person for Contract Job Registrations (CJR), including RAMS
Raising of SCaRF requests and managing invoices for the contracts.
Ensuring completion and upkeep of statutory and safety assessments, including PUWER
Raising, managing, and controlling purchase orders, related to maintenance

Experience Required:

An indentured apprenticeship or NVQ Level 4 minimum vocational qualification
Good knowledge of fluid and gas management equipment & control systems
Experience in facility fault finding & rectification
Working level knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths and Science
A full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points, no disqualification
