Marketing & Office Coordinator
Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham (Office Based)
Hours: Part Time, 15-20 hours per week (hours to be agreed when accepting the role)
Salary: £10,491.00 - £13,988.00 (depending on hours)
Apex AV is a growing technical production company delivering conferences, awards dinners, live streaming, sporting events, exhibitions and festivals across the UK. We work with a wide range of clients including hotels, corporate organisations, event agencies, sporting bodies and governing organisations. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Marketing & Office Coordinator to join our team.
Marketing will be a key focus of this role. We are looking for someone who is excited by content creation, social media and brand development, and who wants to play an active role in helping Apex AV grow. Alongside marketing responsibilities, you'll also provide valuable support with office administration and project coordination.
We are a small, friendly team and are looking for someone who enjoys getting involved, taking ownership of projects and becoming part of the journey as the company continues to grow. This is not a large corporate environment with rigid job roles. We value good ideas, a positive attitude and people who are willing to roll their sleeves up and help where needed.
The Role
Marketing Responsibilities
- Managing and developing our social media presence across multiple platforms
- Creating engaging content including photos, videos, graphics and written posts
- Appearing in social media content where appropriate
- Assisting with the website build, updates and improvements
- Creating marketing materials including brochures, flyers, proposals and promotional content
- Supporting email marketing campaigns
- Helping to develop new marketing ideas and campaigns
- Attending events to capture content including photography and video
- Monitoring and reporting on marketing performance
- Exploring new ways to increase brand awareness and generate enquiries
Administrative Responsibilities
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the office
- Managing general enquiries and incoming communications
- Assisting with data entry and maintaining records
- Supporting project administration and event planning
- Preparing documents and presentations
- General office duties as required
Typical Day-to-Day Tasks
- Creating & scheduling social media content
- Occasionally visiting a live event to capture behind the scenes and highlight content
- Updating our website with hire stock, testimonials, recent projects…
- Writing and uploading regular blog posts to our website and social media channels
- Reviewing marketing performance and suggesting new ideas
- Building and sending proposals to clients
- Creating and sending purchase orders to suppliers
- Tracking, booking and communicating with our freelance team
- Supporting event administration and planning
About You

Previous experience in marketing, content creation or social media management would be beneficial, although attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are just as important to us.
Experience using the Adobe suite, Canva, social media platforms, website management tools or other marketing software would be ideal.
A full UK driving licence would be desirable as there will be opportunities to attend events and create content on location.
