Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Audiologist specialising in ear wax removal to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert ear health assessments and safe, effective ear wax removal procedures. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ quality of life through specialised audiological care. The position is self employed and suitable for individuals committed to delivering exceptional patient service within a professional clinical environment.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive ear health assessments, including visual inspections and tests.
Perform safe and effective ear wax removal procedures using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Provide personalised advice on ear health, hygiene, and preventative care to patients.
Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with clinical standards and data protection regulations.
Educate patients about their ear health, addressing any concerns or questions professionally.
Ensure all procedures adhere to health and safety guidelines, maintaining a sterile environment at all times.
Stay informed about the latest developments in audiology and ear care practices through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

Recognised qualification in Audiology or related healthcare field.
Proven knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to audiology and ear health.
Experience and specialised training in ear wax removal techniques is essential.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and patient management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and compassionately.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and patient confidentiality.
