Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi Trader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction and maintenance skills, enabling them to undertake various tasks across multiple trades. This role is essential for ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. The Multi Trader will work on diverse assignments, including residential and commercial properties, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across various trades, including carpentry, masonry, and roofing.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
Perform bricklaying duties as required, ensuring quality workmanship.
Assist in welding tasks when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in metalwork.
Conduct inspections of work areas to identify repair needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project updates and requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, and welding.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to construction and maintenance tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction or related fields are advantageous but not essential.
