Job Summary - Flexible Hours / Opportunity To Travel / Commission / Bonus Structure

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Event Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with potential clients, promoting our event services, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure memorable experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a flair for marketing, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse client base. This paid position offers valuable experience in sales and event management within a vibrant organisation.

Responsibilities

Assist in the promotion and marketing of upcoming events through various channels
Engage with prospective clients, providing detailed information about our services and packages
Support the sales process by answering queries and guiding clients through booking procedures
Maintain excellent customer service standards, ensuring client satisfaction from initial contact to post-event follow-up
Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure seamless execution of events
Attend promotional events and participate in outreach activities to increase brand awareness
Keep accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using organisational tools

Requirements

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently with clients
Previous experience or knowledge in event sales is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided, however, you must be confident on the telephone and happy to sell exhibition space.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for event planning and client engagement
Must be available to work during peak times, including evenings and weekends if required
