About the role
As Administrator Apprentice, you will be the welcoming, organised presence that helps people feel supported from the moment they contact or visit our office.
You will often be the first person our clients speak to and the first face they see. The way you answer a call, welcome a visitor, record information or follow up an action helps create the experience people have with Get Set UK.
Working alongside our RESTART team, you will provide day-to-day administrative and customer service support while completing structured learning as part of your apprenticeship.
This is an entry point into a professional administrative career, but you will have real responsibility from day one.
You do not need to know everything when you start. We will help you learn our systems, processes and services. What matters is that you are willing to learn, take feedback, follow instructions and take pride in getting things right.
What you will do
-
Act as front of house for the office and help create a welcoming, professional environment.
Welcome clients, visitors and partners and make sure they are directed to the right person.
Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and respond to basic enquiries.
Make outbound calls to clients to confirm appointments, provide updates or follow up agreed actions.
Schedule appointments and support the management of team diaries and calendars.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to RESTART Advisers and the wider delivery team.
Handle correspondence, scanning, filing and document management.
Update client and office records accurately and keep information up to date.
Support administrative processes connected with the RESTART Scheme.
Provide basic Information, Advice and Guidance when appropriate and once trained to do so.
Use Microsoft Office and internal systems to complete administrative tasks.
Handle personal and confidential information appropriately.
Keep accurate records and follow required processes.
Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues and external partners.
Complete your apprenticeship learning, training and assessments within agreed timescales.
