We are currently looking for production operatives to join one of the UK's leading family-owned seafood businesses.

We are the largest independent supplier of skin-packed and bulk fish to large multiples, wholesalers and the food service sector. Copernus is a 200+ strong family run business, who recognize our staff are pivotal to our continued success.
Available Shift Patterns:
Monday-Friday, 18:00pm - 03:00am
Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of customer specifications;
- Ensure adherence to correct changing and hygiene procedures;
- Adhere to time & attendance procedures;
- Take reasonable care of the health and safety of self and others specifically being aware of your own working environment and observing safe working practices at all times
- Operate a ‘clean as you go approach’ to your immediate environment by ensuring spillages and build ups of waste are removed at regular intervals;
- Ensure process conditions and all relevant aspects of the production environment, inclusive of all aspects of hygiene are adequate and in accordance with Copernus’ own code of practice;
- Ensure compliance with and promotion of, Company food quality and food safety and ensure the Company operates in compliance with relevant legislation;
- Maintain and ensure that all GMP standards are adhered to the agreed level;
About you:
Good understanding of English language, written and oral;
Excellent communication skills;
Flexible and adaptable approach;
Previous experience in a previous Team Leading position;
Basic awareness of Food Hygiene.
