Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Freelance Security Guard to provide vigilant surveillance and maintain safety across various sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment. This role offers flexible freelance opportunities suitable for individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

This includes retail, events and doors

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
Utilise CCTV systems to observe and record activities, ensuring comprehensive surveillance coverage
Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying potential theft or vandalism
Respond promptly to security incidents, including emergencies requiring first aid assistance if necessary
Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with organisational protocols
Enforce access control procedures by verifying authorised personnel and visitors
Collaborate with local authorities or emergency services when required to ensure safety compliance

Requirements

Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is preferred
Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques is essential
First aid certification is highly desirable to handle emergency situations effectively
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential security threats promptly
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and site requirements
Must possess the legal right to work as a freelance security professional within the UK
