Full job description

Do you enjoy being on the road and making a difference every day? We are looking for a Casual Driver to join our Transport team at Moulton College. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who values safety, reliability, and excellent service.

Experience driving a minibus is not essential. Applicants require a full, clean driving license with D1 entitlement and a willingness to train.

Interviews for this role will be taking place week commencing 29 June 2026.

We are currently looking for someone who can work mornings between 5:45 am and 8:45 am – 15 hours per week. This role is ideal if you have some availability during the week – whether you’re waiting for your first full-time position, between roles, or simply looking for fewer hours to fit around other commitments.

Please not that this role is scheduled to begin in mid-August.

Your duties

You will:

Transport students to college in the morning.
Transport students and staff safely between college sites.
Promote positive behaviour and ensure compliance with college policies during journeys.
Carry out routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance to keep our fleet in top condition.

Person specification

The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

Full, clean UK driving licence with D1 entitlement.
Experience working with young people and vulnerable adults.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
A caring, helpful, and flexible approach with strong communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and health & safety standards
