Full job description

Overview
We are a very busy, friendly food testing laboratory (Southern Microbiological Services) based in West Buckland, Wellington, Somerset. We are seeking a full time, detail-oriented and highly organised Office Administrator to join our team. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm and hourly pay is £13.52 per hour.

Duties to include:

Reception cover (2 days a week) - dealing with customers face to face and over the phone; sending results; responding to customers queries via email and anything else that is required.

Assisting the Finance Manager with invoicing and other administrative tasks (3 days a week).

Regular use of the inhouse LIMS system.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar administrative or office support role
Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MS Office Suite
Organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Previous finance experience would be an advantage but not essential
