Overview
We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installer to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and construction experience, with a proven ability to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems efficiently and safely. Duties
- Install, commission, and test air conditioning units in residential, commercial, and industrial settings including VRV/VRF, chillers, MVHR units and more
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation manuals to ensure precise execution of projects
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing air conditioning systems as required
- Lead installation teams when necessary, providing guidance and supervision to junior staff
- Troubleshoot system faults using specialised equipment and diagnostic tools
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with clients to determine specific requirements and provide expert advice on system selection and optimisation
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Overtime paid door to door with weekend work available
Qualifications
- Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, or repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Demonstrable construction experience with a focus on HVAC systems
- Leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring team members
- Proficiency in equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques for air conditioning units
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations within the construction and HVAC sectors
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Valid driving licence is essential to facilitate transportation between sites

Pay: £35,420.00-£54,890.00 per year
