Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Pet Sitter and Dog Walker to provide exceptional care for our clients' beloved animals. This role involves taking dogs on walks, feeding, administering medication if necessary, and ensuring pets are comfortable and happy during their owners' absence. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle active pets. Responsibilities
- Take dogs on daily walks, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation.
- Feed pets according to specified schedules and dietary requirements.
- Administer medication or supplements as instructed by pet owners.
- Monitor pets’ behaviour and health, reporting any concerns to owners promptly.
- Provide companionship to animals, ensuring they feel safe and loved during visits.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment during pet visits.
- Follow specific instructions regarding pet routines, special needs, or behavioural considerations.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding pet status and any incidents during visits.
Requirements
- Prior experience in animal care is needed and veterinary assistance is preferred genuine passion for animals is required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as lifting bags of pet food or assisting with larger animals.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driving licence is essential for ease of travel between clients’ homes.
- Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong sense of professionalism.
- Ability to handle multiple pets safely and confidently in various environments.
- Flexibility to work during mornings, afternoons, or evenings based on client needs.

Pay: £12.21-£25.37 per hour
