We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Conveyancing Paralegal / Secretary / Executive to join our legal team. Duties
- Drafting and preparing legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts and transfer deeds
- Managing and organising case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate conveyancing procedures
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, and deadlines using Microsoft Outlook
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and correspondence using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Maintaining effective communication channels via email and phone calls in a professional manner
- Ensuring compliance with legal procedures and internal policies throughout the conveyancing process
- Providing administrative support to the legal team, including filing, data entry, and record keeping
Experience
- Proven experience as a paralegal or legal secretary specialising in conveyancing or property law is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software systems quickly
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience working within a legal or professional services setting is advantageous but not mandatory
