Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hard Landscape Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with a variety of landscape and construction projects, focusing on the maintenance and creation of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in garden/Landscaping construction, with the ability to work efficiently in outdoor environments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in landscape maintenance
Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks including planting
- Operating hand tools such as spades, rakes, and shovels to support various project needs
- Using power tools and machinery including excavators and irrigation systems for installation and maintenance
- Supporting construction activities such as laying paving, walling, and groundwork preparation,turfing
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring tools are clean and functional
- Assisting with site clearance, debris removal, and general tidying of work areas
- Supporting team members in executing landscape designs and project plans efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is helpful but not essential
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labour for extended periods
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- A valid <PERSON> (if applicable) or relevant safety certifications are preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
