Job Summary
As an Event & Warehouse Operative, you will play an essential role in preparing, delivering, installing and dismantling luxury weddings and events.
No two days are the same. One day you may be preparing floral installations in the warehouse, the next you could be helping build a luxury mandap in one of the UK's finest venues.
This is a physically active role requiring reliability, attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Duties
- Prepare equipment for upcoming events.
- Pick and pack event orders accurately.
- Load and unload company vehicles safely.
- Check equipment before and after every event.
- Clean and maintain hire equipment.
- Assist with stock counts.
- Report damaged or missing equipment.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
- Return equipment to the correct storage locations.
Event Installation
- Assist with setting up luxury weddings and events.
- Build staging and dance floors.
- Assemble mandaps and decorative structures.
- Install backdrops and draping.
- Position furniture and décor accurately.
- Install floral arrangements and centrepieces.
- Assist with lighting installations where required.
- Follow setup plans and floor layouts.
- Ensure every installation meets AEH's luxury standards.
Event Dismantling
- Carefully dismantle installations.
- Protect equipment during transportation.
- Load vehicles efficiently.
- Leave venues clean and tidy.
- Complete equipment checks upon return.
Teamwork
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, Team Leaders, Sales and Accounts Department.
- Support colleagues throughout busy event periods.
- Communicate any issues promptly.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Health & Safety
- Follow company Health & Safety procedures.
- Lift and move equipment safely.
- Wear appropriate PPE where required.
- Maintain safe working practices in the warehouse and at venues.
- Care for company vehicles, equipment and client property.

- Forklift licence (desirable).

Working Hours
This role requires flexibility due to the nature of the events industry.
Typical duties include:
- Warehouse preparation during the week.
- Early morning deliveries.
- Weekend weddings.
- Evening installations.
- Late-night collections.
- Seasonal busy periods.
Overtime will be available during peak periods.
