The post holder will be a highly motivated and registered practitioner who will identify and facilitate ward based learning and ongoing support for professional clinical development.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Practice Facilitator team, with responsibilities spanning all inpatient wards.
(4-day week: 3 x 9am-5pm + 1 x 9am-3pm) or (5-day week: 5 x 9am-3pm)
§ Support the co-ordination of the learning experience of clinical colleagues in order to optimise retention and development of clinical staff
§ Work collaboratively with the Practice Education Facilitator and other colleagues who support learning and development in the organisation to ensure appropriate orientation and induction of new staff, including induction training days and completion of mandatory, essential and role essential training and competencies
§ Support the delivery of preceptorship programmes for newly qualified practitioners and liaise with professionals involved in clinical preceptorship programmes in the organisation to optimise resources and learning opportunities for multi-disciplinary learning.
