About us

Guardforce Security Services Ltd, is an Approved Contractor with the SIA and was established in December 1993.

Vacancy Type - TEMPORARY COVER SECURITY OFFICER - GATEHOUSE DUTIES AND MOBILE PATROLS

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Guardforce team in Southampton SO16 0YS for a confident, well mannered and professional individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.

The job requirements:

SIA license essential.
Excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills
General security gatehouse duties with a professional approach.
Dealing with clients, deliveries, staff, visitors, and contractors.
Incident response and good incident report writing skills.
To respond and assist in dealing promptly with emergencies on site.
Perimeter foot patrols
Maintaining a detailed log.
Flexible and reliable approach - work on shift/rota basis in day / night.
Excellent oral and written communication.

The ideal candidate

Excellent communication skills a must.
Reliable, effective and helpful team player.
Excellent time management and flexible approach to changes.
Must have own vehicle to reach the site or live in close proximity to Southampton SO16 0YS
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY.
MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK DAY OR NIGHT SHIFTS AS PER SCHEDULE.

Summary

As a Security Officer specializing in Gatehouse Duties and foot patrols, you will be essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization. Reporting to the Security Manager, your role involves monitoring premises through surveillance, conducting foot patrols and preventing unauthorized site access. Your core skills in report writing and customer service will enhance communication with staff and visitors. Additionally, your premium skills in conflict management and first aid will be vital in emergency situations, while your time management abilities will ensure efficient patrols and response times.
