Full job description

Granite House is one of the UK’s leading custom worktop specialists – and we’re looking for someone with raw, hands-on talent to train as a Worktop Finisher.

You’ll be working with granite, quartz, and solid surface materials, focusing on mitering, building up edges, and perfecting finishes – turning raw stone into stunning, ready-to-install worktops.

No prior stone experience needed – we provide full training for the right candidate. If you've worked in trades like joinery, cabinetry, bench fitting, kitchen fitting, tiling, plastering, or solid surface fabrication, your skills are highly transferable.

What We’re Looking For:

Hands-on experience in a skilled trade or workshop setting
Good with tools and materials – with an eye for fine detail
Comfortable in a busy workshop environment
A team player with a strong work ethic
Eagerness to learn and build a long-term career

Key Responsibilities:

Mitering and building up edges of stone and solid surface worktops
Finishing joints and edges to high standards
Working alongside skilled fabricators to learn advanced techniques
Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised
Delivering consistent, high-quality craftsmanship
