Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that all clients receive the highest level of service. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, upselling services, and facilitating smooth communication between customers and the workshop.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assess their needs regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Provide detailed explanations of services offered and recommend additional services through effective upselling techniques.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and transactions.
Handle cash transactions with precision and ensure all financial processes are followed correctly.
Liaise with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure timely updates on vehicle status.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
Stay informed about current promotions, services, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable advice to customers.

Requirements

Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
