Working Hours

The role requires flexibility to support holiday and absence cover across the wider team.

Core working hours are:

Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 3:00pm
Occasional Saturday cover as required

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a warm, professional and personable part-time Front of House Host to become the welcoming face of our showroom. This role is integral to creating the exceptional first impression for which Wakefields is known, ensuring every client feels valued from the moment they arrive.

The Role

As our Front of House Host, you will play a key role in delivering the renowned Wakefields experience. You will welcome clients into our luxury showroom, offer refreshments, coordinate appointments and ensure every visit is seamless, comfortable and memorable.

Whether greeting a client collecting a treasured piece of jewellery, welcoming guests to an event, or introducing someone beginning their luxury watch journey, you will help create an atmosphere of warmth, elegance and genuine hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a warm, professional welcome to every client entering the showroom.
Offer and serve complimentary refreshments from our hospitality bar.
Manage client arrivals and coordinate introductions to the appropriate member of the team.
Maintain an inviting, immaculate and well-presented reception and hospitality area.
Support the smooth flow of appointments and showroom activity throughout the day.
Assist with client events and in-store experiences as required.
Uphold the highest standards of luxury customer service, reflecting the values and reputation of ‘The Wakefields Way’.

About You:

Previous experience in hospitality, luxury retail, customer service or a client-facing environment is essential.
Naturally personable with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Professional, polished and approachable in manner and presentation.
Able to make clients feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
Organised, proactive and capable of multi-tasking calmly and efficiently.
