Full job description

Company Overview

Studio Manolo designs and makes considered furniture and joinery — pieces built to endure. We work across residential and commercial projects, from full kitchen and wardrobe fits to bespoke furniture commissions. We're looking for a draughtsperson who brings real care to their drawings and the discipline to keep everything that surrounds them in good order.

What you'll do

Produce detailed working drawings for custom furniture and joinery — from concept through to shop drawings ready for the workshop
Develop material schedules, cut lists, and hardware specifications in coordination with our makers
Work directly alongside our cabinetmakers and designers, translating creative intent into precise, buildable documentation
Maintain the drawing register and repository — keeping file names, version numbers, and exports accurate and consistent across all active projects
Manage revisions and ensure the repository always reflects the current issue of every project's drawings

What we're looking for

Proven experience in furniture or joinery drafting — you understand what works in a workshop, not just on screen
Fusion 360 proficiency is essential — this is our primary tool for modelling and documentation
Strong organisational skills — you take file naming, version control, and drawing management seriously and maintain them without being asked
Solid understanding of timber joinery, hardware, and construction methods — hands-on workshop experience is a real advantage
Comfortable working independently in a workshop environment, with a methodical approach and a high standard of accuracy

Working at Studio Manolo

We're a small, tight-knit team that cares about craft. You'll be based in our workshop, close to the making, with direct contact with the people building the work. The conditions negotiable — we're open to finding an arrangement that works for the right person.

Pay: £190.00-£240.00 per day
