About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Casual Indoor Cycling Instructor to join the Edge Hill Sport Fitness Department.

Key responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering safe, engaging, and effective indoor cycling sessions tailored to participants’ abilities and fitness levels
Creating structured, motivating, and inclusive classes that encourage participation and progression
Monitoring participants’ technique and performance, offering guidance and modifications where required
Building a welcoming, energetic, and supportive environment that promotes member enjoyment and retention
Inspiring and motivating participants to achieve their personal fitness goals while providing ongoing encouragement and support

You will become part of a well-established and professional fitness team with a popular class timetable and high levels of member engagement. The department offers a supportive and collaborative environment that values teamwork, innovation, and personal development.

About You

As a Casual Indoor Cycling Instructor, you will have:

Proven experience delivering group fitness or indoor cycling classes
Strong understanding of fitness principles, anatomy, and safe exercise practices
The ability to adapt sessions to suit a range of fitness levels and abilities
Excellent communication and motivational skills
An energetic, enthusiastic, and approachable personality
A genuine passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals
A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Creativity and initiative in planning and delivering engaging classes
