Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Agricultural Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a variety of agricultural machinery, including tractors & tele handlers. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on agricultural vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by liaising with operators regarding equipment issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical repair, electrical systems, or equipment maintenance within an agricultural or similar environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Mechanical knowledge related to agricultural machinery and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Experience in assembly, equipment repair, or maintenance work is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
- Good customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and operators.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. We are looking for someone with a flexible approach to working as this role will cover mainly tractor maintenance for a number of farms over the Norfolk & Suffolk area.
A works van will be supplied for your use.
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
