About the role
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Technical Clerk to join Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick on the MEH Alliance at Hinkley Point C — one of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects.
Working closely with Quality teams, Building Leads and Discipline Leads, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting site operations and ensuring information flows smoothly across the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured, fast‑paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of project delivery.

What you'll be doing
- Preparing Life Time Record packs and supporting Quality Assurance /Quality Control documentation
- Producing weekly plans, reports and lookahead charts
- Maintaining training registers, skills matrices and team org charts
- Updating daily logs and schedules
- Coordinating meetings and supporting area/building teams
- Providing day‑to‑day administrative and technical support to site leadership
Who we're looking for
- Previous experience maintaining logs, records or documentation within a site, construction or technical environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using systems to track data, training and team information
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working on site the majority of the time
- Ability to gain a BPSS security clearance
