We are looking for a Car Parts Advisor for our busy Galashiels branch, previous experience is essential for the position
Responsibilities:
· Working alongside our car parts advisors to deliver the highest level of customer service
· Ensure accurate pricing and parts supply
· Dealing with trade customers both over the phone and face to face
· Liaise with external suppliers and internal network to ensure part availability to place orders
· Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with a special emphasis on health and safety
· Great communication and relationship with customer base
Essential skills:
· Proven track record for Customer service
· Excellent team player with ability to work from own initiative
· Have a flexible approach to the changing demands of the role
· Strong planning and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
· Ability to prioritize workloads to ensure you achieve targets
· Efficient computer skills is essential
· Strong Reading and numerical skills are required
· Motor trade background essential
· Experience working in a busy parts department advantageous
Our standard week is Monday to Friday 8.00 -17.00 with alternate Saturdays 8.00 - 12.30
