Critical Care Paramedic – Wellow (Romsey) / Shaftesbury Base

Our services include specialist event medical cover, ambulance and patient transport services, welfare support, and medical provision for media and film. Our multidisciplinary teams include paramedics, nurses, and doctors, ensuring a consistently high standard of clinical care.

The Role

We are seeking experienced Critical Care Paramedics to operate from our Wellow (Romsey) or Shaftesbury bases, delivering advanced pre-hospital care across a variety of deployments.

This role involves working within a highly skilled team, responding to complex and high-acuity incidents, and supporting both routine and specialist medical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver advanced pre-hospital and critical care interventions
Respond to high-acuity medical and trauma incidents
Operate autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team
Provide clinical leadership and support to frontline staff
Ensure accurate clinical documentation and reporting
Maintain readiness of equipment, vehicles, and medical supplies

Requirements

HCPC-registered Paramedic
Evidence of Critical Care / Advanced Practice qualification or equivalent experience
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain – support available)
Full UK driving licence
Strong clinical decision-making and leadership skills
Ability to work flexibly, including unsociable hours

Desirable

Previous experience in critical care, HEMS, or specialist retrieval teams
Blue light driving qualification
Experience in event or remote medicine environments
