The Role
We are seeking experienced Critical Care Paramedics to operate from our Wellow (Romsey) or Shaftesbury bases, delivering advanced pre-hospital care across a variety of deployments.
This role involves working within a highly skilled team, responding to complex and high-acuity incidents, and supporting both routine and specialist medical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced pre-hospital and critical care interventions
- Respond to high-acuity medical and trauma incidents
- Operate autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Provide clinical leadership and support to frontline staff
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and reporting
- Maintain readiness of equipment, vehicles, and medical supplies
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Paramedic
- Evidence of Critical Care / Advanced Practice qualification or equivalent experience
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain – support available)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong clinical decision-making and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including unsociable hours
Desirable
- Previous experience in critical care, HEMS, or specialist retrieval teams
- Blue light driving qualification
- Experience in event or remote medicine environments
