We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Dog Walker & Pet Sitter to join our growing team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active, and building relationships with both pets and their owners.
About the Role
As a Dog Walker & Pet Sitter, you will provide professional pet care services, ensuring pets receive the exercise, attention, companionship, and care they need while their owners are at work, on holiday, or otherwise unavailable.
Every day is different, and you’ll have the opportunity to care for a variety of pets, each with their own unique personality and needs.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE AND ACCESS TO A VEHICLE LARGE ENOUGH TO TRANSPORT UP TO 6 DOGS AT A TIME.
Key Responsibilities
- Walking dogs up to 6 dogs safely in a group accordance with their individual needs and local regulations
- Providing home visits for dogs, cats, and other small pets
- Feeding pets and ensuring access to fresh water
- Administering medication where required
- Offering companionship, playtime, and enrichment activities
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in pet areas
- Monitoring pet health and behaviour
- Sending updates, photos, videos and messages to owners
- Ensuring all pets are treated with kindness, patience, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for animal welfare
- Previous experience with pets, either professionally or personally
- Excellent reliability and time management skills
- Confidence handling dogs of various breeds and temperaments
- Friendly, professional and efficient communication skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems calmly
- A positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
- Access to reliable transportation
