Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Removal Porter/driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient movement of goods and furniture both locally and nationally.

Responsibilities

Load and unload items using appropriate techniques and equipment, ensuring safety at all timea.
Handle materials carefully, ensuring items are transported without damage
Support with moving-related tasks as required, including basic assembly or disassembly of items and disconnection and reconnection of appliances and packing.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, following proper manual handling procedures

Qualifications

Age 21+ with Valid full UK driving license essential.
Confortable driving 3.5 tonne Luton vans.
Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness to undertake manual handling tasks over extended periods

This role requires a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency, with a focus on delivering high standards in all aspects of materials movement. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment.

Please note - this role is currently not Full-time, it is a role that requires flexibility around hours, with full availability to work at short notice and with pre-booked jobs.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
