Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Mazak CNC lathes and Integrex’s to produce precision components in a small friendly team where everyone mucks in.
Duties
- Set up and some programming of CNC lathes according to technical drawings and specifications
- Operate CNC machines efficiently to produce components with tight tolerances
- Monitor machine operations during production runs, making adjustments as necessary for optimal performance
- Conduct routine inspections of machined parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Perform maintenance and on CNC equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and Solid models for accurate machining processes
- Maintain a clean and organised work area adhering to health and safety regulations
- Document production activities accurately for set up sheets
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator or similar machining role
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in CAM software Visi would be advantageous
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret engineering specifications accurately
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety standa
