Role Summary
Our Finance Assistant supports day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring financial data is accurate and up to date. The role requires a meticulous, detail-oriented individual who can handle data with patience and care. Responsibilities include assisting with routine accounting tasks, maintaining records, and supporting the wider team. A reliable and supportive approach is essential to help ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities

Support a range of accounting tasks, including: Purchase ledger, Sales ledger, Credit control.

Manage workload effectively to meet tight financial deadlines.

Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and process financial data.

Provide support to the wider team and finance function across the organisation.

Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial processes.

Communicate effectively with colleagues across a diverse organisation.

Contribute to efficient day-to-day operations within a small accounts team.

Working conditions
This role is based on-site at Langdale Hotel and Spa, Ambleside, LA22 9JD.
This is a live-out position, relocation support may be available for exceptional candidates.
All candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the start of employment.
