Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Sales Assistant to join our sales team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop essential skills in sales, negotiation, and customer service within a Manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

Assist the sales team in engaging with potential clients and existing customers to promote products and services.
Support the negotiation process by providing relevant information and facilitating communication between clients and senior sales staff.
Conduct research on target markets and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
Maintain organised records of customer interactions, appointments, and sales activities using IT systems.
Follow up with clients post-interaction to ensure satisfaction and nurture ongoing relationships.
Support the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and preparing sales materials.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
