Full job description

TIG Welder – Stainless Steel & Aluminium.

Location: UK (travel to client sites required)
Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience
Positions Available: 1

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

TIG welding of stainless steel and aluminium to high quality standards
Carrying out first-off and final inspections to ensure quality compliance
Ability to Read and interpret engineering drawings is essential
Working to deadlines using your own initiative
Supporting and contributing to the wider welding team
Working on client sites throughout the UK when required

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in TIG welding stainless steel and aluminium
Experience with thin gauge and heavy gauge welding
Background in sheet metal fabrication
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Competent using hand and power tools
Basic mathematical skills for measurements
Confident communicator with a positive, can‑do attitude
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

Level 3 Welding Qualification desirable
Experienced Level 2 welders considered
Forklift licence advantageous

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
Overtime required when necessary
