Full job description

Senior Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant to join our small busy finance office supporting the Head of Finance in a family-owned business, operating in the multi-site leisure sector. The main purpose of this role is to oversee and support the full accounts process from day-to-day processing up to management accounts preparation level. Supervising and managing a small team of two accounts assistants.

This role would be ideal for somebody looking to further their experience and career in a hands on fast paced environment.

Responsibilities and duties include:

Bank reconciliations
BACS payment run collation and processing
Account reconciliations and control
Preparation of weekly reports for management and directors
Commission reconciliations
Management accounts preparation and journal entry, including accrual and prepayment etc management.
Balance sheet reconciliation and control
Fixed Asset Management
Liaison with Accountants, Auditors and 3rd Parties.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Dynamics 365 Business Central experience useful but not essential
Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
Experience of handling fast-flowing workload efficiently and effectively
Accuracy and attention to detail

This is a full time position.
