Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Support Coordinator to join our team to provide administrative and operational support to the Production team by maintaining accurate production records, supporting health and safety administration, coordinating departmental documentation and assisting with continuous improvement activities.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring production information is accurate, up to date and readily available to support efficient day-to-day operations.

Duties

Data input (machine KPIs, material consumption figures, assembly timesheets)
Liaise with shop floor team leaders to get check sheets/daily walk arounds.
Fill out accident reports with all relevant information before passing on for investigation
Maintain accurate documentation related to production processes, quality standards, and equipment maintenance.
Facilitate communication between departments to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
Support the training of staff on new procedures or system updates related to manufacturing operations.

Skills

Previous administrative experience.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment desirable
Experience working with production KPIs or operational reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and play an important role in supporting production performance, driving continuous improvement and contributing to the future success of Mercia Garden Products.

This is a part-time position working 30 hours per week across five days (Monday to Friday). While we're happy to discuss the daily start time, the successful candidate must be able to work until 6:00 pm each working day to meet the needs of the business.
