Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for someone to join our team for 6 Months as a Vehicle Valeter to handle vehicle cleaning on site, including some detailing tasks such as basic polishing and decontamination washes.

Job Description & Duties

Preparing vehicles for handovers, photography, and general upkeep
Completing deep cleans on new stock and handover vehicles
Carrying out wet and dry vacuum cleaning
Performing three-stage machine polishing
Carrying out steam cleaning
Ensuring all showroom and forecourt vehicles are regularly cleaned
Reporting to the Stock Co-Ordinator or General Manager for daily schedules
Conducting daily on-site walkarounds to identify vehicles requiring refresh cleans
Washing all vehicles efficiently and within strict timeframes

Job Requirements

Basic understanding of English required (English does not need to be your first language)
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
Ability to follow instructions
Knowledge of car washing and valeting techniques
Ability to work independently within strict timeframes
Strong attention to detail

Additional Information

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm (including 1 hour paid lunch)
Position Type: Temporary Contract
Location: One site only
Driving licence and right-to-work checks will be carried out upon selection
Salary will be paid on the last working day of each month via BACS (a UK bank account will be required)

The position will be reviewed towards the end of the 6 month period.
