Reporting to: Metal Workshop Manager
Location: Ashford
Hours: 8am – 5.30pm - Mon-Fri, plus overtime (if required)
Holiday entitlement: Up to 27 days per year, plus bank holidays
Overview of role
As a CNC Operator, you will work to defined quality standards while adhering to all safety procedures. You will be a motivated team player with a flexible approach to work and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC machinery in line with production requirements
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with housekeeping standards
- Work effectively as part of the workshop team to meet daily targets
What we are looking for:
- Previous CNC programming experience is essential
- Experience with Fanuc CNC systems
- A sound understanding of health and safety practices
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literate, with the ability to operate machinery using touch screen interfaces
- A flexible and proactive approach to work as this role will also require some setting
