An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Paediatric Dietitian with a specialist interest in diabetes to join our friendly and supportive Paediatric Dietetic team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
You will become part of a supportive team of three Paediatric Dietitians within a wider department of 17 dietitians, covering a range of specialisms including neonates, cystic fibrosis, allergy and gastroenterology.
The team provides dietetic input across inpatient and outpatient services at Watford General Hospital.
Current clinics run on Tuesdays at Hemel Hempstead Hospital and Fridays at Watford General Hospital.
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in paediatric diabetes care within a dynamic and supportive team.
In this role, you will lead and continue to develop the Paediatric Diabetes service within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
You will contribute to specialist diabetes clinics, lead group education sessions, and act as a source of expertise for colleagues and patients alike.
With a new hospital planned for Watford, work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital and plans for a neighbourhood healthcare centre in Hemel Hempstead, this is an exciting time to join us.
