Contour Orthodontists are looking for a reliable and hard working decontamination assistant to join their friendly team in Winchester
We are looking for someone who is efficient, kind, reliable, and has a high sense of responsibility. They should also have a keen sense of detail and be comfortable using computers and new technology to help us deliver a superior patient journey and experience.
Responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and sterilising of all of the dental instruments in line with decontamination guidelines
- Ensuring the decontamination area is run in accordance to HTM01-05
- Accurately complete validation and testing log books as directed
- Stocking up surgeries
- Checking in deliveries
- Assisting nurses with cleaning down surgeries
This role is ideal for someone on a gap year seeking healthcare experience. No previous experience is required—full in-house training will be provided. However, the successful candidate must have completed Hepatitis B vaccinations.
Hours are Mondays 8.45 - 18.15, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8.15 - 17.45, Thursdays 9.45 - 18.15 and Fridays 9.45 - 16.15.
