This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated warehouse or transport supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams, and takes pride in delivering operational excellence.
Working at the heart of our UK network operation, you’ll oversee the receipt, sortation, and onward movement of freight arriving from across the UK and Europe. Your leadership will directly influence service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction for some of our key clients.
What You'll Be Doing
As Night Network Operations Supervisor, you’ll lead from the front — ensuring freight moves safely, accurately, and on time while motivating your team to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the receipt, movement, sortation, and dispatch of freight across the network
- Lead, motivate, and support a team within a busy warehouse environment
- Deliver regular team briefings, coaching, training, and 1-2-1s
- Ensure all operations are completed safely and in line with company health & safety procedures
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity, and operational compliance
- Use operational systems and handheld technology to manage freight transactions
- Identify and escalate operational issues or service variations promptly
- Ensure MHE/FLT equipment is compliant, maintained, and safely operated
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and site standards
- Work collaboratively with internal departments and partners to resolve issues quickly
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
- Assist Client Services by providing accurate operational debriefs and updates
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a confident supervisor who can stay calm under pressure, lead by example, and build strong team engagement.
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or transport supervisory/team leader experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to work accurately and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Forklift licence preferred
- Full UK driving licence required
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive, positive, and team-focused attitude
What We Offer
- Salary up to £36,771 per annum depending on experience plus up to £3,500 per annum night allowance
- Permanent full-time role — 45 hours per week
- Working hours: 16:00 – 01:00
