About us

Join our award winning private dental practice as a Dental Receptionist and Dental Nurse, where you’ll be the welcoming face and voice that sets the tone for our patients’ experiences! In this vital role, you will manage the front desk operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our patients. Your organizational skills and friendly demeanor will help create a positive atmosphere, making each visit memorable. Responsibilities:

Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
Taking and developing dental x-rays
Providing patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Maintaining accurate patient records
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Ordering and maintaining dental supplies and inventor
Ensuring compliance with infection control protocol
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
Schedule appointments efficiently
Manage patient records
Complete general admin tasks
Process payments
Answer multi-line phone systems, addressing patient inquiries and directing calls appropriately
Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and documentation review
Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate care plans and enhance patient service
Make daily Instagram/TikTok content for the practice (you will be required to appear in videos published online)
Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested

Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Proficiency in using dental software and technology (inc MS Office)
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Strong organisational skills
Excellent customer service skills

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable
