Join Our After School Club Team! (To start September)
Playworker – Part-Time | Danescourt, Cardiff

Are you fun, reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic about working with children? We’re looking for a fantastic Playworker to join our busy and friendly After School Club team!

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 – 6:00 pm
Additional hours available during school holidays in our Holiday Club

About the Role

As a Playworker, you’ll play a key role in providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children aged 4 to 12 years. You’ll help plan creative and age-appropriate activities, support children’s social and emotional development, and ensure their well-being during each session.

Your Responsibilities

Plan and lead play activities for children aged 4–12
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff
Provide a safe and secure setting at all times
Walk children safely from the school to the club each day
Work collaboratively with our small, welcoming team

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children (early years experience is a bonus!)
A Level 2 or 3 Playwork qualification, or willingness to complete a Level 2 course
A caring and proactive approach with great communication skills
Someone who thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment
