Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the local area.
- Maintain punctuality and ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs, prioritising passenger safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing friendly and professional service throughout the journey.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Manage bookings, navigate using GPS or maps, and adapt routes as necessary to avoid delays.
- Assist passengers with mobility needs when required, demonstrating courteous behaviour at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Private hire or hackney driver licence from Liverpool city council, Sefton council and Knowsley council are required.
- Must have suitable vehicle Private hire or Hackney carriageway
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers or managing luggage.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and coordinate routes.
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and navigation tools.
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills to perform routine checks and minor repairs.
- Self-motivated with organisational skills to manage schedules independently.
