Xenon Connect is looking for a creative, enthusiastic and motivated Digital Marketing Assistant / Trainee to join our team in Wrexham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in digital marketing, content creation and business communications. You'll work closely with a small, friendly team and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing activities, helping to promote our services, events, training programmes and industry publications.

Whether you're a recent graduate, college leaver or someone with some marketing experience looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

Full training will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our marketing team, you'll be involved in a variety of creative and digital marketing projects, including:

Creating social media content to promote podcast releases
Supporting exhibitions, events and trade shows, including photography and on-site marketing activities
Assisting with event planning and organisation
Updating and managing content within our online training course portals
Supporting Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising campaigns
Assisting with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) activities
Managing and growing social media channels through regular content creation and engagement
Designing exhibition stands, leaflets, brochures and marketing materials
Writing website content, case studies and blog posts
Producing content for our industry magazine websites, including the use of AI-assisted content creation tools
Editing and publishing podcast episodes
Creating and managing direct mail marketing campaigns

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Creative, organised and eager to learn
Passionate about marketing, digital media and content creation
Comfortable writing engaging content for different audiences
Confident using social media platforms professionally
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Desirable Skills

While not essential, experience in any of the following would be beneficial:

Graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
Website content management systems (CMS)
Social media management
Photography or video editing
Podcast production or audio editing
SEO and PPC marketing
AI content creation tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot or similar platforms
