Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for an Operations Team Leader to join our operation and play a key role in driving performance, efficiency, and safety.

Role: Operations Team Leader
Shifts: Monday-Friday 2pm -10pm
Location: Thrapston

What will you be doing?

As Operations Team Leader, you’ll oversee a section of our warehouse, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the management team in achieving business targets. You’ll lead a team of operatives, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and motivating your team to meet KPIs and deadlines.
Training new operatives and supporting ongoing development.

• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock movement records.• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and fostering a culture of safe working.

Producing reports, assisting with stock takes, and planning future capacity needs.
Acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and transport partners, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.

About You

Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
Possess a proactive approach, confident in decision making
Good IT knowledge, including spreadsheets and warehouse systems.
A solid understanding of health and safety requirements.
A forklift licence and knowledge of lean techniques would be an advantage.
