Established in 1993, Tristel is a global infection prevention business, headquartered in Cambridgeshire, UK. We have subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, Spain, MENA, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.
The Quality Control (QC) function is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and analysis of samples in support of production and validation activities. This includes performing and verifying calculations for additions to production batches.
QC is responsible for ensuring that all relevant equipment is appropriately calibrated and maintained to guarantee the reliability of analytical results and measurements.
The department performs testing in accordance with defined production processes and approved methods, including the calculation and verification of batch adjustments where required.
QC is also responsible for the review and release of finished bulk solutions, ensuring that all products meet established specifications prior to release.
Responsibilities:
- To be proficient in all aspects relating to general analysis of the quality control and laboratory areas.
- To perform testing of all Tristel raw materials, production bulk solution batches and third-party packed materials to set specifications, test methods and procedures.
- To be able to maintain the quality control function daily with effective document control, sample retention and effective communication. To aid when necessary ongoing tasks within the laboratory, such as stability, or research projects.
- Testing of all incoming raw materials, production bulk solutions and third-party packed materials to the agreed specifications, test methods and procedures.
- Effective collation of all retained samples relating to the above, organisation of long-term sample storage as well as disposal when necessary.
- Daily calibration of all critical laboratory equipment.
- Data input and creation/review of product C of As.
- Ensuring that all worked areas within the laboratory are kept clean and tidy.

Qualifications:
No formal academic qualifications are required however prior experience in scientific industries or scientific academic qualifications are desirable.
