Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated fitter/joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years fitting experience and a high-level understanding of joinery. The successful applicant will be required to fit high-quality items such as windows, doors and porches on new and existing properties.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to drawings or specifications
- Install doors, windows, porches & other joinery items.
- Fit and secure components using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with site supervisors, contractors, and other trades peoples.
Qualifications
- At least 15 years’ experience in fitting work & carpentry
- A high-level knowledge of joinery
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical fitness and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
