Job Summary
We are seeking a self-employed Taxi Driver to provide reliable and professional transportation services. Mainly working evenings and weekends to suit.The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers flexibility and independence, allowing you to manage your own schedule and operate as a sole trader within our company. A valid Taxi driver’s licence and good driving record are essential, along with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Safely operate your own vehicle to transport passengers to various locations in a timely manner
Option to drive your own vehicle or drive for one of our existing owner drivers
Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout their journey
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of your vehicle to ensure optimal operation
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance when needed and addressing any concerns professionally
Manage bookings, routes, and schedules efficiently to maximise service coverage
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and licensing requirements at all times
Perform occasional heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage or cargo

Qualifications

Valid Taxi driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is advantageous
Proven driving experience, particularly in passenger transport or similar roles
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and recognise potential mechanical issues
Strong communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
Physically capable of heavy lifting when required, such as handling luggage or cargo
Organised with excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality and reliability

This position offers the opportunity for independent work within the transportation sector, requiring dedication to safety, customer service, and professionalism.

Pay: £97.68-£251.12 per day
