Job Title: JCB Fastrac Operator / Class 1 HGV Driver
We are looking for a reliable and professional JCB Fastrac Operator / Class 1 HGV Driver to work on a large National Highways project.
This role is paid under CIS.
The role will involve travelling around site and carrying out road haulage duties using a JCB Fastrac with various trailers. You will be responsible for moving materials, plant, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently across the project.
Key Duties:
- Operating a JCB Fastrac for commercial road haulage work
- Moving various materials, plant, machinery, and equipment around site
- Using a range of different trailers safely and correctly
- Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer checks
- Following site rules, traffic management plans, and safe working procedures
- Working closely with site teams and supervisors
- Maintaining good timekeeping and a professional attitude at all times
- Reporting any defects, issues, or safety concerns
Essential Requirements:
- Class 1 HGV licence / C+E entitlement
- Valid CSCS Green Card
- Experience operating tractors, trailers, or similar haulage equipment
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills
- Commitment to safe working practices
Desirable:
- Safety Critical Medical
- Highways Passport / National Highways Passport
These can potentially be arranged if the right candidate does not already hold them.
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
