We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Activity Support Workers to join our growing team. Although we are based in Aberdeen, we operate in Colchester and are expanding our services, meaning we require flexible staff who can support our work across both locations.
This role involves supporting a structured activity and care programme for young people aged 12–17, including those who may be in crisis situations or require short-term respite support. You will play a key role in providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for vulnerable young people.
About the role
As an Activity Support Worker, you will:
Support young people aged 12–17 in structured activities and daily routines
Provide emotional and practical support to children in crisis and respite care settings
Work as part of a team to ensure safety, wellbeing, and positive engagement
Encourage participation in recreational, educational, and outdoor activities
Maintain a calm, professional and supportive presence at all times
Follow safeguarding procedures and reporting requirements
Availability
We are looking for staff who can be flexible and on standby 24/7, including evenings, weekends, and short-notice cover shifts.

Pay: £230.00 per day
